Nathan was hired by Bob Brazill, a renowned studio lecturer, radio DJ, and record producer at Universal, to serve as a studio assistant to produce death metal band Rite of Ruin’s debut single.

The project was highly engaging for Nathan, as it perfectly matched his musical interests. He excelled in his favourite genres of rock and metal, contributing his production skills to enhance the powerful drum lines and heavy rock guitar riffs. This creative collaboration resulted in a unique sound for the band, highlighting Nathan’s talents and expertise as a studio engineer and producer.

Nathan thoroughly enjoyed the experience, comparing it to working with legendary bands like Pantera or Metallica. The band members were not only highly talented but also enjoyable to work with, making the studio, production, and creative process an unforgettable journey for him. Completely immersed in the project, Nathan relished every moment. Ultimately, Bob, Nathan and the band were delighted with the final track, and Nathan expressed a strong desire to collaborate with the band again, reflecting his profound enjoyment of the project.
