Stonebloody, a dynamic student rock band from Manchester, embarked on a journey to record their latest single. Their quest for a producer led them to Leeds Beckett University, where they discovered the talented Nathan Brannon. Nathan’s expertise in recording, production, mixing, and mastering was instrumental in bringing their vision to life.

 

As the lead technician, Nathan oversaw the entire recording and production process, with Thomas Lorain assisting in setup and recording. Over two weeks in the university studios, the project unfolded into an enjoyable and collaborative experience. The band and Nathan shared a deep passion for rock and metal, which was evident in their seamless partnership. Nathan’s skills were showcased as he enhanced the dynamic drum lines and powerful guitar riffs, crafting a distinctive sound that defines Stonebloody.

 

Together, Nathan and the band created a sound reminiscent of Skillet or The Donnas for their single. The band members, not only exceptionally talented but also delightful to work with, made the studio experience truly enjoyable. Both Nathan and the band were thrilled with the final track, and Nathan is eager to collaborate with them again, as the experience was incredibly rewarding.
